My first time on national television.

Recently I was on this kids-science show called Newton, on the national Norwegian television channel NRK.

If you are wondering why the heck I was on a science show for kids, then I’ll have to tell you that I in addition to be a 3D and motion graphics guy I’m also a up and coming skateboarder. Therefor I got a phone call from NRK, and they asked if I’d like to talk a little about bearings and why that are so important for us skateboarders. This was my first TV experience so I couldn’t say no to that.

Another fun fact is that Selda Ekiz, the show host, was recently voted for ”Norways second sexiest” by the readers of the magazine ”Mann”, thats rad!

This wasn’t the most relevant blog-post according to what I usually post, but hey! Since it’s my first time on television i tough I’d share it.

White iPhone 5 model for Elements 3D

I’ve downloaded Videocopilot’s free iPhone 5 model for Elements 3D, the model is actually way too good to be free, so all respect to the guys at Videocopilot. I’we saw a few people complaining in the comments below that it’s the black version, and what if I would like the white one? The answer to that is to make a white diffuse pass by your own, and thats what I’ve done. Easy business in Photoshop if you know what you are doing, yet so powerful.

Let me know in the comments what you think, and maybe I would share the diffuse pass .png file if someone should be interested.

Elements 3D

I only wanna share with You that I just purchased the Elemets 3D plugin for After Effects by VideoCopilot, and I can’t wait to dig into it.
Elements 3D is a very powerful plugin that allows you to import 3D objects directly into After Effects for instant use, no rendertime, just Rock’n Roll! I first of all purchased it because of a project I’m working on that I hope to finish over christmas, but I’m sure I will be using this a lot in My future projects too.

If You aren’t familiar with VideoCopilot I would absolutely recommend checking that out. They are having ”Cyberweek” now, that means you got 25% off all their products, that can be a lot of money saved if You’re thinking of buying some of their products.
